Since 1980, Sunrise Waldorf School has grown to provide preschool and Kindergarten through Grade 8 Waldorf education which integrates academic and artistic development at appropriate stages in the growth of the child. Island Oak High School, located nearby, provides classes 9-12.
We are provincially recognized and funded as a Group One Independent School, meeting B.C. Ministry of Education curriculum guidelines. The Sunrise Educational Society, under which the school operates, is a registered non-profit society.
