Walking the Pumpkin Path - October 31st
The morning fog and the bountiful harvests are upon us. Fall in all its glory is here, bringing those shorter days and darker nights. Halloween approaches. If you are looking for a Halloween alternative to trick-or-treating consider joining us at Sunrise Waldorf School for our Pumpkin Path celebration. Entry is by donation, minimum $5/family.
The Pumpkin Path is a magical Halloween experience created for children under 10 years old, and is held by Waldorf schools across North America. Take a journey in celebration of autumn, through a land of pumpkins. Many delightful surprises await you as you stop to encounter the friendly and funny characters of nursery rhymes and stories of old, alive and well on this very special Pumpkin Path.
Storytellers, music, and a bonfire make waiting for your turn down the path a special treat. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Each child will need a bag or basket to collect a few natural treats along the way and a mug for apple cider. Please come dressed in warm costumes without masks, scary effects, or television characters.
