Mayfest - Saturday May 4th, 2019
Sunrise Waldorf School celebrates Mayfest every year. Mayfest is a joyful festival where each grade school class performs a dance around the maypole for the school community in celebration of Mayday.
The ECE children celebrate Mayday in their classrooms during the weeks around the festival. The kindergartens perform a dance around a smaller maypole for the parents of those classes.
